Karimnagar: Telangana State Planning Commission Vice-Chairman B Vinod Kumar has called upon TRS workers to work hard and ensure that the party sweeps Huzurabad and Husnabad municipalities in the coming local bodies elections.
Vinod Kumar along with Health Minister Etela Rajender, MLAs V Sathish Babu and Rasamai Balkishan and others campaigned for TRS candidates in Huzurabad and Husnabad municipalities on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Vinod Kumar advised party leaders to appoint in-charges for every ward and coordinate with party cadres to ensure victory in the civic bodies. Urging them to campaign in an innovative manner, he wanted the party cadre to utilise social media extensively for campaign. Stating that every vote was important, he advised leaders to meet every voter at least ten times. “Seek votes from people who were getting government benefits such as Kalyanalaxmi, Shadi Mubarak and pensioners,” he said.
Stating that the youth were in favour of TRS, Vinod said the TRS government was striving hard to provide basic facilities in towns. TRS had a strong base in Huzurabad and Husnabad and the opposition parties had no strength to face the ruling party, he said.
