ADILABAD: Balladeer Gaddar’s son Surya Kiran, who recently joined the Congress in the presence of party president Rahul Gandhi, has become a prominent leader within no time and is getting an opportunity to address large meetings along with top leaders. Mr Kiran has become a special attraction as he is the son of Gaddar who till recently strongly opposed parliamentary politics and supported revolutionary movements. Gaddar himself is associated with the T-Mass, a platform for several organisations, launched by the CPM.

Mr Kiran was given the opportunity to address the massive gathering during the Congress’ Praja Chaithanya Yatra in Mancherial on Sunday. He alleged that the TRS government had destroyed people’s movements, organisations and forums which had fought for statehood. Mr Kiran took recourse to his father’s popular song ‘Podusthunna Poddum-eeda Nadusthunna Kalama Poru Telanganama’ and raised the slogan ‘Jai Bheem Jai Congress’. He also spoke about Dr B.R. Ambedkar.

He said the Congress would liberate the people of of the state from the feudal forces ruling the state by winning the 2019 elections.
