The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) on Tuesday announced a slew of measures to increase revenue and improve facilities including issuing combination tickets and cards to travel in buses, the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) and taxis provided by cab-aggregation services.

The issuing of such cards and tickets will be done keeping the convenience of passengers in mind.

These can be used to travel in taxis provided by Ola and Uber. Apart from this, they can also be used by those travelling in the MMTS as well. The RTC also said it plans to enhance revenue by constructing multiplex cinemas, parking, shopping complexes in bus stations depots. While feeder buses for passengers who wish to use the HMRL have been put in place, the TSRTC provides free bus services to passengers for last mile connectivity to Metro stations. Plans are also afoot to improve feeder services.

The TSRTC will also develop an integrated App for passenger of the HMRL so that they can tap into its bus services.
