RTC has not been reimbursed by the government for its subsidies on passes.

Hyderabad: The TSRTC online ticket booking app is riddled with errors, irking passengers ahead of the Sankranti season. Some passengers who used the app to book tickets said seats which were booked were being shown as available. People who cancelled their ticket are made to wait two months for a refund.

Mr G. Komal, a software employee, said that he had cancelled two tickets booked about two months. "Till now I have not got the refund. I'm trying to contact customer care over phone calls and emails but I have received no response.

When contacted, an official a the RTC's IT department said the corporation's process for a refund took longer.

The RTC's Live Bus Track, which provides real-time information of arrival and departure timings of district and city buses, is limited to Hyderabad.

This is because out of 10,500 buses, only 1,800 are equipped with the GPS facility. Asked about this, officials said work was still going on.
