Khammam: The District Collector RV Karnan and Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqubal have led the way in following rule of one person in a car imposed in the State in the wake of lockdown.
They toured the Khammam roads driving their cars to inspect the implementation of lockdown. The Collector made surprise inspection of corona isolation ward at District General Hospital and enquired about the outpatients visiting the ward.
Karnan directed the hospital authorities to take measures to set up outpatient wards at Women’s Training School building and EHS building on the premises of the district hospital. The blood samples of patients suffering from cough, cold and fever have to be sent to Hyderabad for tests.
The patients whose blood samples for testing have to be lodged at isolation ward, he said. He also visited Mamata General Hospital and inspected corona isolation ward at the hospital. The Collector inspected many areas and directed medical shop owners to ensure distance between the visitors.
The Commissioner of Police has visited Pavilion Grounds where vegetable market was set up for the convenience of public. He directed the visiting public to maintain distance from one to one and avoid crowding. He urged the residents to support lockdown and stay at home.
