The temperature, which hit 39 degree celsius on Sunday, is expected to go upto 41 degree celsius over the week. However, rain and thundershowers are also expected. 

Hyderabad: While temperatures are expected to rise further, rain and thundershowers may bring slight relief during the night, according to the weather forecast.

The forecast says that if the situation continues then the temperatures are likely to come down by weekend.

But the sweltering heat will be there for the next two days as the temperatures rise, the weather department officials said.
