Hyderabad: This year, schools get 16 days for Dasara holidays

Class X syllabus should also be finished by January 10, 2020, and syllabus till Class IX should be completed by February 29, 2020.  

Hyderabad: After a long break from the academics, all the schools across the state are set to reopen on Wednesday.

According to the academic calendar for the year 2019-20 which was released by the school education department on Tuesday, 16 days have been given for Dasara holidays, from September 29 to October 13, which is three days more than the last year.

Class X syllabus should also be finished by January 10, 2020, and syllabus till Class IX should be completed by February 29, 2020.

School timings should be from 9.30 am to 4.45 pm for high schools, while in case of twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, it should be from 8.45 am to 4 pm.
