Hyderabad: Justice Ghandikota Sri Devi of the Telangana High Court on Tuesday reserved judgment on the anticipatory bail petitions of former CEO of TV9

V. Ravi Prakash. He had asked the court to direct the Cyberabad police not to arrest him in cases lodged against him and others on charges of forgery and IT Act violations.

With the completion of arguments, the court adjourned the cases for pronouncement of judgment without mentioning a date.

Counsel for the petitioner submitted that Ravi Prakash would abide by the conditions imposed by the court if it gave anticipatory bail. He submitted that the state government was working against Ravi Prakash with malafide intention to favour some people.

He submitted that police was not registering the FIR based on Ravi Prakash’s complaint against the buyers of TV9. Further, he said that the transfer of 90 per cent share in TV9 was illegal, as it was transferred despite the case pending before the National Company Law Tribunal.
