Hyderabad: With schools and colleges re-opening on Monday, the issue occupying the minds of most RTC staff is paying the fees for the next term. Parents have to pay the term fee, transport fee and for extra-curricular activities.
A child rights activist has appealed to private schools to be considerate towards the RTC staff. The activist, Mr Achyut Rao, said, “Till this issue is resolved, the cooperation of private schools will be required. They must not remove the child for want of fee. On humanitarian grounds these cases must be considered.”
“The appeal is to ensure that they are not further distressed. The support from society will go a long way in helping them fight the innumerable problems that they may be facing at the official, social and also personal levels,” he said.
