Hyderabad: Fourteen police officers from Telangana have won medals that were announced by the Central government on Friday ahead of Independence Day.
A Sub-Inspector Mogulla Venkateswar Goud and a head constable Mohammed Meharajuddin won the Police Medal for Gallantry while IG P. Pramod Kumar and Cyberabad Sub-Inspector (Civil) Thota Subramanyam bagged the President’s Police Medal for their distinguished services.
Ten police officers including Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Deputy Director M. Ravinder Reddy, Rachakonda Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) N. Bhujanga Rao and Cyberabad Cybercrimes ACP Ch Y Srinivas Kumar also won the Police Medal for their meritorious service.
