Hyderabad: In a respite to commuters dependent on public transportation, the city bus services which were suspended six months months back during lockdown, will be restored partially from Friday.
In this regard, the State government has given a green signal to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) to resume 25 per cent of the city bus services starting from Friday.
TSRTC’s Greater Hyderabad Zone has a total of 2,800 buses. Out of this, RTC was instructed to operate 25 per cent of buses in the wake of Covid-19.
In addition, the government also gave a nod to resume inter-state buses from Telangana to Karnataka and Maharashtra with full-fledged services.
